Leppävaaran Pyrintö eli LePy on yhdellä Suomen nopeimmin kasvavalla, Suur-Leppävaaran alueella toimiva koripallon erikoisseura. Suur-Leppävaaran asukasluku on jo ylittänyt 70 000. Jos Leppävaara laskettaisiin omaksi kaupungiksi, olisi se kaupunkivertailussa Suomen 13. suurin kaupunki. Jäseniä seurassa on jo yli tuhat ja Suomen Koripalloliiton kilpailutoimintaan osallistuu vuosittain yli 700 pelaajaa. LePy on lisenssien määrällä mitattuna Suomen kolmanneksi suurin koripalloseura. LePy on Olympiakomitean ja Suomen Koripalloliiton Tähtiseura.

LePyllä on päätoiminen toiminnanjohtaja, joka vastaa seuran päivittäisestä johtamisesta yhdessä seuran hallituksen kanssa. Päätoiminen valmennuksen kehittäjä vastaa valmennuksen sisällöistä, valmentajien kouluttamisesta sekä toimii valmentajien esimiehenä yhdessä toiminnanjohtajan kanssa. LePyssä on neljä päätoimista valmentajaa sekä noin 40 muuta valmentajaa, jotka yhdessä vastaavat seuran laadukkaasta valmennustoiminnasta. Näiden lisäksi seuran toimintaan osallistuu yli 100 vapaaehtoista aktiivia, joita ilman seuralla ei olisi toiminnan edellytyksiä.

Valmentajaksi LePyyn!

Seuran juniorimäärän kasvaessa etsimme lisää valmentajia mukaan lasten ja nuorten valmentamiseen. Mikäli olet kiinnostunut valmentamisesta ammattina tai olet esimerkiksi muuttamassa pääkaupunkiseudulle ja etsit osa-aikaista valmentajan paikkaa, niin meillä on sinulle töitä. Mikäli teet päätyöksesi jotain ihan muuta, mutta haluaisit olla mukana lasten ja nuorten valmennuksessa, vaikka vain muutaman kerran viikossa, niin olet myös etsimämme henkilö. Me etsimme henkilöitä, jotka haluavat olla mukana Oranssissa perheessä kasvattamassa lapsia ja nuoria kohti omaa huippuaan, oli lapsen tavoitteet sitten koripallon ammattilaiseksi tai harrastajaksi.

LePy is looking for basketball coaches

 The basketball Club Leppävaaran Pyrintö (LePy) is one of Finland's fastest growing basketball clubs. It is located in Leppävaara, Espoo, where the population has already exceeded 70,000. If Leppävaara were counted as its own city, it would be the 13th largest city in Finland. There are already more than a thousand members in the club and more than 700 players take part in the Finnish Basketball Association's competition activities every year. LePy is the third largest basketball club in Finland in terms of the number of licenses.

LePy has a full-time Executive Director who is responsible for the day-to-day management of the club together with the club's board. The full-time Coaching Developer is responsible for the contents of the coaching, the training of the coaches and acts as the coach's supervisor together with the Executive Director. LePy has four full-time coaches and about 40 other coaches, who together are responsible for the club's high-quality coaching activities. In addition to these, more than 100 active volunteers take part in the club's activities, without which the club would not have the prerequisites.

We are now looking for basketball coaches

As the number of juniors in the club grows, we are looking for more coaches. If you are interested in coaching as a profession or you are moving to the Helsinki metropolitan area, for example, and you are looking for a part-time coach job, then we have a job for you. If you are doing something completely different, but would like to be involved in coaching children and young people in your free time, even if only a few times a week, then you are also the person we are looking for. We are looking for people who want to be involved in an Orange family raising children and young people towards their own peak, whether the child’s goal is to be a basketball professional or just part of the group.

You will have a work community around you that is ready to evolve with you. We support education and the salary is always paid on time. We will start with a one year fixed-term contract but when both parties agree we are ready for a multi-year contract.

The work is scheduled to start no later than the beginning of August, but once a suitable applicant has been found, the work can start as early as spring. This is a fixed-term position until end of May 2023.
